Frank L. Vannerson (1938-2008) CERGE-EI is supported by two foundations which share a joint mission and which closely coordinate their fund-raising efforts in order to ensure maximum efficiency. The CERGE-EI Foundation USA is a legally registered not-for-profit organization operating in the United States under IRS 501(c)3 regulations. The focus of its activities is the United States and Canada. Nadace CERGE-EI ("Nadace" is the Czech word for "foundation") is legally registered in the Czech Republic and engages in fund-raising activities throughout Europe.
